I have a photo of my great grandmother Caroline Wooding,
standing outside in about 1928. My grandmother was Ethel May Wooding as
listed in the 1911 census. William Wooding died in about 1928 and I believe
the brewery took back the pub and refurbished it closer to what it is today.
My great grandparents were landlords from 1905-ish to 1928/9.
