Henry Pryor is at the Little Wonder by the 1891 census. He is here until at
least 1913. By 1918, we have moved to Gravesend, where wife Emma is at the
Pelham Arms (Note that the address does not match for some entries). She
dies here about 1920; and son Henry takes over for a while, then possibly a
younger son, Alfred.
The two buildings differ considerably, and the picture (circa 1915) is the
later public house. The alternative picture has the name H Pryor clearly
identified, as is the brewery in both cases, i.e. the Russell & Gravesend
Brewery. This brewery is taken over by Truman in 1930. The question is as to
when the earlier building is rebuilt - any ideas?
