Public houses in Queenborough
Queenborough is two miles south from Sheerness, on the river Swale. The
population in 1851 was 772. It consists of one main street, and is chiefly
supported by the oyster fishery. The church is an ancient edifice, consisting of
nave, chancel, and tower. Here is a national school for boys and girls.
