James Freeman Randall ran the Crown and Anchor, 20 West Street, Sheerness. He would have been the landlord from the late 1860s until about November 1872 (when his 4th child was born here). In May 1875 (his 5th child was born in Woolwich). He took over the Royal Oak, 27 New Road, Woolwich  about 1873; and latterly the Bull Inn, 5 Cross Street, Woolwich by 1878.  ***
