SOUTHBOROUGH is a village and parish, three miles south from the town of Tunbridge. The population in 1851 was l,327. The church is a neat and commodious building. The living is a perpetual curacy; the Rev. Stephen Langston, M.A., is the incumbent. Here is also a neat Wesleyan chapel.

POST-OFFICE.- George Wickenden, Postmaster. Letters arrive from Tunbridge Wells, which is also the nearest Money Order Office.
