You have listed Herbert C Vaughan. His son (also publican at the Bull Hotel) was also called Herbert Cecil Vaughan, which can get a bit confusing! So,

Herbert Cecil Vaughan (senior - known as Cecil) became licensee "in the 1920s" so I have been told. He was born on 19 Feb 1876 at Sandown Villa, St Mary Magdalen, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings. He died on 7 May 1944 at Coxheath, Linton, Kent. He was married to Amy Esther Vaughan (nee Townsend) on 22 Nov 1902 at The Register Office, Camberwell, County of London. *

In 1943, probably due to the failing health of his father, the son took over the pub. So, Herbert Cecil Vaughan (junior - known as Tom) took over as Proprietor of the Bull Hotel. He was born on 13 Jun 1903 at 46 Moncrieff Street, Peckham, County of London. He died on 12 Apr 1965 at "Royal Engineer", Twydall Green, Gillingham, Kent. He was proprietor of The Royal Engineer from 1962. He was married to Doris Millicent Vaughan (nee Breeze). The Doris Millicent Vaughan (nee Breeze) married to Herbert Cecil Vaughan "Tom" is the same family as the Breeze family that ran The South Eastern Hotel in Tonbridge for decades. *

I was told that the Bull Hotel was knocked down for a new shop in the early 60s so my Grandad moved the The Royal Engineer.
