WICKHAM BREAUX is a pleasant village five miles and a half east by north from Canterbury, in the hundred of Downhamford, and lathe of St. Augustine. The church of St. Andrew is a neat and handsome building. The living is a rectory, in the incumbency of the Rev. T. C. Plumptre. The population in 1851 was 481.
