WOODNESBOROUGH is a large village, one mile and a half west of
Sandwich. The church of St. Mary is a neat structure. The living is a
vicarage, in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Rochester. The
population in 1851 was 813. Grant's Grove, Polders. Each, Comb, Poulton,
Turney, and Ringlestone, are other hamlets.

nearest Money Order Office is at Sandwich.
