Lawson Swann, keeper of the Hatters Arms beer house, Bridge lane, was fined 20 shillings including costs for permitting women of ill fame to resort to his huse for the purpose of dancing.

On Wednesday last, Lawson Whalley Swain, of the Hatters Arms, beer house, Bridge lane, was summoned fro an infringement of his license, for selling out liquor during the morning of Sunday last. Fined a penalty of 10 shillings and costs.
