Mr B E Caldwell, a former member of the Birkenhead Town Council and formerly licensee of the Prenton Hotel, Prenton was granted temporary transfer of the licence of the Letter Hotel, Chester street, by the magistrates today. The transfer was agreed to by Mr John Lees, the outgoing licensee.
