John Reuter applied for the renewal of his license at 106 Pitt street. The reason the application was adjourned was that on March 7 the licensee was fined £5 and costs, at the instance of the Inland Revenue, for having in his possession tobacco mixed with licquorice, and not enclosed in a customs wrapper.
The applicant stated thta the tobacco was not for sale, and the incident occurred through an oversight on his part, The renewal was granted.
