The Levenshulme in Manchester has re-opened following a £179,000 investment into the popular North West venue.
The refurbishment has seen the Manchester-based pub receive a complete transformation, with the venue’s new look interior giving a new lease of life to the pub with a new brighter and fresh look.
The pub’s outdoor seating area has been upgraded with new seating, a new decking area and astro turf laid to make it as popular as ever, as guests enjoy the summer sun. New flooring and carpets have also been fitted to give the traditional pub a new appearance, and externally the front of the pub has been given a spruce up with a repaint to give a revitalised feel to the venue.
The pub is the perfect sports venue with seven TVs throughout all areas of the pub showing BT Sport and Sky Sports, there’s no better place in town to catch all of the best sporting action live with your friends and family, as The Levenshulme enjoys the start of the new football season. Also entertaining guests will be the venue’s freshly updated darts area, with an illuminated dartboard creating the perfect opportunity for a little competition between friends. This is alongside a new pool table area which will become a focal point of the sporting activities on offer.
Situated on Stockport Road, the Levenshulme is surrounded by residential homes, independent businesses and antique Shops. Historically in Lancashire, Levenshulme is a former township and became a part of Manchester in 1909.
The Levenshulme is a dog friendly pub and open everyday from 11am making it the perfect venue to pop in and have a refreshing drink this summer. The bar stocks quality beers, wines and spirits with well-known local, national and international names. The drinks menu also features a good choice of interesting low and no-alcohol drinks too.
As well as a great range of beverages, the pub will also be hosting a range of entertainment nights for guests to enjoy, including its Tuesday night darts team, a weekly Karaoke Night every Friday hosted by DJ Tony Grimes, along with Saturday night live music nights planned over the coming months.
The pub is operated by Bianca Henderson who started off in a local bar working casually, the more bar work she did the more she loved it. In the meantime, her parents opened The Queen Vic pub in Denton so she moved to work weekends there. Bianca then ran the Pitstop for 3 years but decided she wanted the opportunity to run a pub for herself. Bianca is working alongside her husband Jack to ensure the customers enjoy a great experience at The Levenshulme.
Speaking on the reopening, Operator at The Levenshulme, Bianca Henderson said: “Overseeing the refurbishment to this popular pub has been amazing, as soon as we reopened the doors all of our guests loved the new look. The investment has come at the perfect time with the new football season kicking off and has seen us rushed off our feet. It’s important for me that the locals who visit the pub feel a warm welcome at The Levenshulme, and I think this refurbishment will do a great job of making people feel at home here with us. If you haven’t already, I’d love to see you down at the pub to see all the fantastic changes we’ve made here.”
The Levenshulme, Manchester is part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, who were named the Best Community Operator at the 2022 Publican Awards.
