Preston pub history index
This pub was earlier called the Bridge Inn. In the 1881 census there is the Pleasure Boat Inn, Riverside and next in the census is the Bowling Green Inn, Riverside. It was replaced by the Continental Hotel, although there seems possibly to have been some overlap between them. It is now demolished. **
