I am researching a family of Arnall of Boston - Horatio Pettener Arnall born in 1832 is the son of Horatio Pettener Arnall (1812) of Boston and Jane Baxter *

1867: July 26 - Stamford Mercury :
Horatio Pattiner Arnall, landlord of the Rodney and Hood, was charged with assaulting Mrs Sarah Rossinton. Complainant said she went to the Rodney and Hood late on Tuesday night in search of her husband. The defendant was in the dram shop and told her, her husband had left more then two hours ago. Not believing this statement the complainant wished to look in the smoke-room, and defendant would not allow her, he pushed her out of doors. Mr Arnall said he might have touched the women, but he believed he did not. He refused to let her look in the smoke-room because she called him a liar – Fined 2s 6d and 6s 6d costs.  *

The Grand Jury ignored the bill against Chas Saunders and Joseph Blackham, committed for stealing a barrel of beer, the property of Horatio Pettiner Arnall at Boston on 9th August last.  *

Horatio Pettiner Arnall, landlord of the Rodney and Hood, applied for an extension of two hours on the occasion of a tradesman’s super on Thursday night, which was granted.  *
