Re the Kings Arms, 67 Old Bethnal Green Road, Bethnal Green E2
I've been told that my grandparents George and Beatrice Eyres were landlords here at some point not long after WW2 up to circa 1954.
I am largely relying on my mum and Dad’s memories (he lived there as a child).

In June 1924, George Andrew Charles Eyres, a Stevedore, married Beatrice Louisa White at St Johns church in Bethnal Green. They appeared to be fairly close neighbours living in James street

In 1946 and 1948, listed in the electoral register at 67 Old Bethnal Green Road are :
Alexander Conrad and Elizabeth Conrad, and they were earlier, in 1934, at 50 Upper East Smithfield, the New York Stores. Before this they were at the Resolute, Poplar High street in 1921.

In 1949, listed in the electoral register at 67 Old Bethnal Green Road are :
Alexander Conrad, Elizabeth Conrad, George A Eyres, Beatrice Eyres, and Anthony G Eyres.

In 1954 at 67 Old Bethnal Green Road are :
George A Eyres, Beatrice Eyres and George A Eyres.

A couple of pictures of them in the bar enclosed if that’s of any use ?
