June 1801/Francis Fordham/A subscription to the brave men wounded, and families of those who fell under Command of Admiral Sir John Hyde Parker, in service of their King and Country, in the Baltic and off  Copenhagen last March and April/../../Morning Post

October 1802/Mr Fordham/Natural fatality of Samuel Allsopp at the Turks Head, Aldgate Market/../../Oxford Journal

My 5th Great Grandfather Francis Mead FORDHAM who, in the first line of his Last Will and Testament dated 21st June 1806, states:
"I Francis Fordham of the Turks Head in Aldgate High Street in the Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate in the city of London, Victualler,..........".  *

I believe he may have previously ran another hotel in the district named "the Flying Horse" in Lambeth Street, Goodmans-fields, Whitechapel in 1795. I came across that information when trolling through the Old Bailey records where he appeared prosecuting someone for theft from the hotel. *

He left his entire estate to his wife, Sarah (nee SAVORY). Their son John Savory FORDHAM, also went on to be a victualler but I am as yet to find where in the City of London although I feel it would be in the Whitechapel district.
Francis' brother Thomas was also a victualler and their father, Thomas snr, may also have been but I am yet to confirm this.  *
