Annie Everett , although she was apparently also known by her maiden name, Annie Deeley. She may have held that license for only a short time, as in the 1871 census she has disappeared from the census and her father, Thomas Deeley, who was her barman, is now a "retired publican" and living in Lambeth. Annie married a young man named Joseph Frith Everett (who is my distant ancestor) in 1846 at St. John The Evangelist, Waterloo, Surrey. In 1851 they were living in Soutwark and JFE was a printing press maker. However, shortly thereafter he took bankruptcy and those documents list him as a hydraulic engineer or a pewterer. In 1857 he went to Australia, where in 1866 he himself applied for a pub license in Victoria. I don't know if he ever ran the pub. He died in 1868. Much later in 1891, his cousin, who was my great-grandfather probated his estate and listed him as a widower. ***
