Existed from at least 1805. The address is 62 Church Street in 1869 and earlier, prior to street renaming. The pub name is given as the Jacob's Well in 1825 and also the 1839 Directory. *  This pub closed in c.1989 - premises now a leather clothing wholesaler ** The Well & Bucket has now re-opened its doors to the pub trade (February 2013).
