The first is from the 1966 film The Deadly Affair. In the 1980s-1990s the pub was part of the Bruces Brewery chain of pubs and  was called The Ferret & Firkin In A Balloon Up The Creek Without A Paddle. The second is from 2013 when the pub was called Lots Road. ***
