Grapes, 20 Jewin street, Cripplegate EC1

Cripplegate pub history index

Existed from at least 1818. There are a confusing number of pubs called the Grapes in this area – four in Fore Street alone at one time –  the pubs at 20/21 Jewin Street and at 45 Aldersgate Street were different premises. This pub was rebuilt in 1899, but is now demolished. **
