This is the Ferry House, Lea Bridge according to the 1878 license transfer. In 1891 & 1896 at Middlesex Wharf, Upper Clapton. Formerly the Anglers Tavern. This pub was present by 1800 and was demolished in the 1930s when the whole area was cleared on health grounds because of the frequent flooding experienced here. **
