The 1867 and 1872 license transfers lists the address as the Prince of Wales, Grange Road, Dalston. The address is Grange Road in 1874 and earlier, prior to street renaming. It is also given as 3 Dorset Place, Grange Road in the 1856 Directory  (and as 1 Dorset Place in the 1861 census return). This pub should not be confused with the Prince of Wales at Mare Street (later 259 Dalston Lane). *
