My grandfather and grandmother ran the Tavistock Hotel in Nottinghill. They actually moved from the Marlborough Head in Drury Lane to the Tavistock;  (it was from about 1937 to after the war). They then went on to run a pub in Chelsea (Moore Arms). *+
