John Picker, of Dorringfton in Lincolnshire, was the Landlord of the Three Cups when he died in the pub on the 22nd June 1869. His wife Sarah (formerly Greatham) of Heckington in Lincolnshire took over running the pub, but she also died in the pub on the 28th June 1870. Briefly the pub then passed to a niece Elizabeth Ellen Picker but she also left before 1871. ***
