The will of my GGG Grandfather was made on 31 July 1837 and was granted probate on 12 Aug 1837, and referred to William Butlin as a licensed victualler of the Black Swan public house No 7 Ryders Court Leicester Square in the county of Middlesex. William was only about 38 when he died and left a wife and seven children. They were indeed hard days. *
