The 1861 census entry is at 22 Kingsgate Street. The 1856 directory lists the Mitre at 22 Kingsgate Street; and by 1867 the address is at 39 Kingsgate Street. Presuming addresses do not change between 1848 and 1856, the early name for the Mitre is the Bricklayers Arms. It must be Henry William Pearson who changes the name between 1852 and 1856.
