George Landragin moved from Bethnal Green where he was also a licensed victualler sometime between 1862 and 1864 (based on christenings of his children) to the Druids Head in Deptford; and then was declared bankrupt in 1867. He was the brother to the Martin Landragin that ran the Fox Inn on King Street in Greenwich in the 1870ís and 1880ís. **

My family (John and Ellen Tunkin) used to own the Captain Cook Pub, in Umberston Street E1. They moved out somewhere before 1898 and it was eventually turn into the Plotsker synagogue. This closed before 1930. Umberston Street was also called Marmon, Albertson, Humberstone or Samuels Street. Umberston street was then split up, and the end where the pub/synagogue was no longer exists.  ***
