The 1942 directory lists Cuff and Bacon at the Freemasons Tavern, and the two buidings may have been the same in the early directories. The 1851 census is for Thomas Micahel Bacon and listed as the Freemasons tavern.
They are very much a different building by 1865 when Bacons Hotel it is alongside Middle yard.
