My parents back in the late 1960's were temporary landlord and landlady of the Blue Post. **+
I unfortunately can't remember for how long. As there was no accommodation there we had a flat in Conway St wich was at the other end of Tottenham Court Road. There was a fully working kitchen in the basement with a full time cook she must have worked for a fairly wealthy family before coming here as she always refered to my brother and I as master and miss sounded very strange to two children from a working class background.
Being just down from the Dominion Theatre the doorman from there was a frequent customer. I have to say it was a great experience for two children from Cheshire to find the selves in we both have very happy memories of that time. Thank for taking the time to read this it was wonderful to see it again.
