This is the modern name for a pub which spent much of its life as a Bodega. The Bodega Company is a limited company which specialised in the licensed trade. Many of their establishments are plainly called Bodega, this was definitely as such between 1905 and 1951.
It was a Greene King public house in 2017 and March 2026. Greene King has announced plans to sell off, or convert 150 pubs into tenanted or franchised locations, as the UK hospitality sector struggles with rising costs.
