Westminster St Margaret index
Also known as the Fleece, this pub dates back to at least 1700. It stood on the north side of Tothill Street, two doors east of the Cock, and had its own Stable Yard, named on several maps. It was demolished with the rest of the northern side of Tothill Street in 1868 during the construction of the Metropolitan and District Railway (today’s District Line). *
