Windsor and Eton Express. 21 February 1863
William Prince of the George the Fourth, Old Brentford was summoned at the instance of the police, for having his house open on the morning of the 1st instance, and permitting disorderly conduct therein.
Police Sergeant Fry was called to the house at 25 minutes past 12 o'clock on the morning of the 1st February. He saw a great number of persons outside very disorderly - there might have been 50 or 60.
The bar was full, and the landlady intoxicated, and serving liquors as fast as she could.
The defendant must be taught to keep his house in better order, and imposed a penalty of £3.
