Jack Fishing - Notice to Anglers - The Proprietor of Hornsey Wood Tavern intends converting the Lake at the rear of the tavern, into a Jack Preserve. Notice will be given when the fish will be ut into the lake - N.B. Pleasure boats let by the hour.

Rifle Practice, 300 yards range.-
At Old Hornsey Wood Tavern, Upper Holloway. The Government Inspector having pronounced and certified that the enclosed rifle ground, attached to the above tavern, is the safest and best near London, the Proprietor begs to call the attention of Gentlemen and Rifle Volunteers that the ground is now open for public and private practice.
