Highgate Brewster Sessions, Four houses scheduled, none to be closed. The proceedings commenced at 10 o'clock and were not concluded until half past five.
The Bull and Horns, Highgate. Within a quarter of a mile radius, there were six full licences and one beer licence. Since 1876 when the license was made a full one, there had been 19 tenants.
Mr Arthur Stevenson, of Highbury Bewery stated that there was a lease of 52 years to run. The Tenant paid £52 a year. During the occupation of Mr Dawson, the barrels of beer per month sold were 13, representing £26 a month. In Mr William's time it increased about a barrel. The average takings per month were £75 including wines and spirits.
