Arnos Arms License granted at the seventh time of asking.
This was for a premises to be erected on a site situated at the junction of Armos road and Bowes road, close to Arnos Grove Tube station, and intended to be called the Arnos Arms. In 1929 when the first application was made, there were 295 houses within a quarter of a mile; today there are 526 houses. Similarly within a third of a mile, there were 775 in 1929 ; and 1,237 today in 1935.
