I am the daughter of Percy young who was manager and we lived in the pub up until about 1959/60; and until this time the pub was a working business.  I  remember it well. I was just looking for any information about the pub as my dad is 93,  and we try to reminisce about his past as a pub landlord. He also managed two other pubs in his working life one was the Robin Hood, Chirton and the Ship, Monksaton. *
