John Thorne (known as Jack) was the husband of my great Aunt Lilian Buckingham. They were at the pub from about 1913, Lilian died in 1931 but John is still there in 1939 with a new wife now assistant victualler. *
Her mother is Mary Elizabeth 1852-1926, my Great Grandmother, and she lived with them at the pub on and off from about 1916 or so. *
