This pub was established in 1587 as the Prince’s Arms. By 1724 it was renamed the Dog & Partridge. It was rebuilt in 1881 and took the name Coach & Horses after the pub of that name in Holywell Street which had closed. The pub closed and was demolished in 1934. **
