Oxford pub history index
This pub was originally called the Red Lion, but in 1852 it took the name Jolly Post Boys from the former pub of the same name next door which had recently closed. The name seems usually to have been abbreviated to Post Boys. The pub closed in 1935 and was demolished soon after. **
