The Sun Stores in 1876. In the records, the name is often abbreviated to Sun. The Sun Wine Vaults in the 1881 and 1891 census. This original pub was demolished in 1896, with a new Sun Vaults continuing as a wine and spirit stores in part of the replacement building until closure in 1921. **
