George Samuel Dexter postman. Effects 1198 8s 11d/Probate
My grandfather, Roland Haydn. was born in the pub. His parents were Inn keepers at the time in 13th July 1913,
being George William Goodburn and Gertrude Ada Goodburn, formerly Claxton. *
At the time of their marriage in 1903, in Peterborugh, his father is George Thomas Goodburn, a publican.
The father appears to have been a licensee at the Duke of Wellington, St Johns Street, Peterborough in 1891.
By the 1911 census, the father is licensee at the Railway Hotel, Station Road, Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire.
