This former pub : *
Jehovah's Witnesses occupied part of the building between 1952 and 1969, using it as their Kingdom Hall. (Worship Registration certificate 63446 at the National Archives, Kew, records that a "Room on the First Floor (formerly 'Rising Sun Inn'), 160/161 Horninglow Street, Burton-upon-Trent" was registered as a Kingdom Hall between 25 April 1952 and 27 May 1969, when they moved to a new building on Station Street.)
Presumably the pub was demolished at some point after that; the site seems to be where the town's police station is now.
