In 1851, William Fenton was the inn keeper at the Queens head , he was also a
butcher and I presume the son in law of Thomas Cooper the previous Inn keeper
having married Elizabeth Cooper his daughter.
Unfortunately the notice on the 24th December 1853 in the Ipswich Journal showed
that he had been made bankrupt. *
