In 1900 my Great Grandparents, George & Annie ran the Three Tuns in Surrey Street, Croydon. They had two children, Cecil George Angel born 1895 & Maude Angel born 1898. *
George Angel was born in 1865, and died at the age of 37. At the pub; and buried in Croydon.
The pub had a bowling Green at the back, this is where Croydon bowling started.
