The 1891 census for Little Bookham lists the Windsor Castle, and licensee Mary Ann Weale, a widowed licensed victualler aged 45, born in Cobham in Surrey. Sh has two sone, Henry A Weale, aged 20, Frank Weale, aged 17, and daughters Ethel Weale aged 14 and Maude H Weale aged 11. They are all born in Little Bookham.
In the 1891 census, an Edith Hazell is the sister of William John Hazell, a publican at the White Hart Inn, in Addlestone.
On December 26th 1896, a William John Wickens, licensed victualler in Addlestone marries an Edith Winifred Hazell at Addlestone. Both their fathers are deceased licensed victuallers, being William Wickens and William John Hazell.
In 1911 census, we have the Windsor Castle, with Mr William John Wickens as licensed victualler, aged 35 from Hove, near Brighton in Sussex; and his wife Edith Winifred Wickens, aged 37, born in Chertsey, Surrey. Their daughter Doris Ada Wickens is 11 born in Lambeth, and a niece Bertha Amy Hazell, a milliner aged 20 from Chertsey, Surrey, plus a servant of all work, a Frederick Howicks, aged 20, from Brighton, in Sussex.
