Hastings pub history index
This delightful little building was the Brown Jug Beer house (or Little Brown Jug). My information is that it was closed in or around 1921 as a result of pressure from a number of temperance groups. It is now a private residence, but has a charming display of old beer bottles, model trains and other items in the window. ***
