The Globe was at Meaden Cottages in 1858 and at Meadows Road in the 1871 cenus. It closed in 1907 , albeit a colourful life and sensation. The building remains divided into two shops (5A & 5B). *** Address given in 1851 as 7 Meadow Cottages. This pub opened in the 1840s and closed in 1907. **
