Hastings pub history index
At 55 Middle Street in 1890 and earlier. Most of Middle Street was swept away by redevelopment in the 1990s, a photo of this can be found here. I don't know when the pub closed or where it was in relation to his picture, but the numbering on the few remaining buildings suggests it was at the far end.***
