The White Horse, Star road in the 1901 census. Listed as the White Hart, Star road in 1891 census. The listings from 1891 to 1938 are indeed for the White Horse that was at 216 Crawley Road, once also Star Row, in Roffey. This White Horse was sometimes known as The Pony, although whether officially or colloquially I am unsure. But it was named as such in the Licencing Register for 1904. *
