No details of it was found in the 1841 or subsequent Censuses nor any unattached beer retailers or innkeepers listed in Wick Street who could have operated at these premises. *

William Cheal is listed as an agricultural labourer in the 1841 census and a farm labourer in the 1851 census though he may have run the pub as a second means of occupation but such is usually listed.
A Robert Watkins of independent means is listed living at Arundel in the 1841 census. *
